	DNR is initiating this Solicitation to solicit proposals from firms interested in providing auditing services for conducting forest certification audits on DNR-managed forested state trust lands throughout the State of Washington. Forest certification is a tool used by many land managers to demonstrate that their forestry activities are conducted in a manner that maintains the forest’s biodiversity, productivity and ecological processes.
