Description

This proposed solicitation is intended for the supply and installation of electric heating furnaces and 200 Amp breaker panels located on the Olympic National Forest. There are current heating oil systems in place that will need to be removed and disposed of off USFS land by the Contractor. There will be 6 base items and 10 optional items within this contract at 8 different structures. The Contractor must quote on all items to be considered for award of this contract. The Forest Service is interested in replacing the current systems with new systems that have equal or greater capabilities when compared to the current systems. The brand of systems that are to be provided in this contract, must be manufactured by a familiar brand that is easily serviceable by any local company; an example of brands would include, but not be limited too, the following: Trane, Carrier, King, Lennox, American Standard and Goodman are some examples.

The Government estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000. The contract is expected to begin in May and will be complete within 120 days of issuance of the Notice to Proceed.



Solicitation will be available for download from sam.gov no earlier than 04/13/2023



Note: prospective awardee shall be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) data base when submitting a quote and shall continue to be registered until time of award, during performance, and through final payment of a contract resulting from this solicitation. Information on registration may be obtained via the internet at: http://www.sam.gov. All contractors and vendors must complete the electronic version of the Representations and Certifications in the SAM system. If at the time of receipt of quotes, a Contractor is not actively and successfully registered in the SAM database, the Contractor will not be considered for award.
