16 Description:
This acquisition is for cast iron anchors, each cast iron anchor shall meet the requirements with regard to precise measurements, tolerances, materials, and quality control requirements. Vendor must adhere to all dimensions and to the specified quality of construction. No substitutions of specified materials will be accepted.
All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation that shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be posted to the Government Point of Entry upon expiration of this synopsis. Technical specifications will be provided with the solicitation.
17. Place of Contract Performance: These anchors will be provided primarily to the Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory (PMEL) located at 7600 Sand Point Way, Seattle, Washington. Other locations will be identified in individual deliver orders. In the past, anchors have been shipped to France, Brazil, and India.
18. Set-aside Status: This Government intends this procurement to be a 100% small business set-aside.
