THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method.

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following services:

• Title: Janitor Services – Administrative and Clinic Areas


• Tasks: This specific contract is for multiple locations within the Seattle/Tacoma Metropolitan Area covering approximately 350,000 sq ft of space. The Contractor shall provide custodial services and complete the following tasks:
  
  
  
  • Restroom cleaning. Clean and sanitize all surface areas, sweep, mop and scrub floors, restock restroom supplies, empty and reline trash containers
  
  
  • Corridors, elevator and stairway cleaning. Provide daily floor and area cleaning. Strip, scrub seal and wax floors (as needed)
  
  
  • Office cleaning. Dusting, daily floor cleaning. Strip, scrub seal and wax floors (as needed). Empty and reline trash containers
  
  
  • Clinic cleaning. Dusting, daily floor cleaning. Strip, scrub seal and wax floors (as needed). Empty and reline trash containers. Clean, sanitize and disinfect all surface areas (examination table, bed and chairs)

  • VA Puget Sound Healthcare System (VAPSHCS) Environmental Management Service will provide all cleaning supplies necessary to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the facility. Contractor owned equipment (i.e. brooms, mops, dust pans, riding scrubber, side-by-side scrubber, and burnish machine) will be use and must meet the specifications below and comply with VA, federal or state Occupational Safety and Health Standards and fire regulations.

VA Puget Sound’s Tacoma, WA Campus 9600 Veterans Drive Southwest Tacoma, WA 98493.

• NAICS Anticipated: 561720, Janitorial Services, $22M

• Type of Contract Anticipated: FFP

• Period of Performance Anticipated: 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2029 (Base + 4 Option Years); additionally, 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services for an additional six (6) months is anticipated.

• Notes: Depending on the results of market research and socioeconomic set-aside decision, the appropriate limitation to subcontracting may be incorporated into resulting solicitation/contract.
