CNIC Operational Management and Effectiveness - Industry Facility Tours

Abstract:

The purpose of this Industry Facility Tour request is to determine the availability and interest of qualified businesses to engage with senior military leaders involved in U.S. Navy shore installation management. Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC), headquartered at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC, is hosting a training symposium from 21-23 March in Bangor, WA for regional commanders and installations commanding officers from around the world. CNIC is responsible for worldwide U.S. Navy shore installation management as the Navy's shore integrator, designing and developing integrated solutions for sustainment and development of Navy shore infrastructure. With more than 53,000 military and civilian personnel worldwide across 10 regions, 70 installations, and 123 Naval Operations Support Centers, CNIC is responsible for the operations, maintenance and quality of life programs to support the Navy's Fleet, Fighter, and Family. In attendance will be approximately 100 senior naval officers responsible for CNIC’s mission.



Who should participate?

CNIC is looking for businesses in the Seattle area that are willing to host groups of 50-80 senior military officers to tour their facilities. CNIC is interested in learning from industry leaders on how civilian industry manages their facilities and conduct business operations.



Tour members will want to hear about your business’ best practices, lessons learned and see how to better operate effectively and efficiently.



Business will not be paid for participation. This is a volunteer opportunity to engage with military leadership and exchange thoughts and ideas.



Participation is not an endorsement of industry and does not commit the Navy to use industry processes or products.



Tour participants will comply with COVID protocols and comply with the attached non-disclosure procedure.



The Navy points of contact will be available to discuss requirements and answer any questions provided prior to the deadline.

Industry Tour Goals:

• Navy leaders gain insight and learn best practices to operate effectively and efficiently.

• Navy leaders gains insight and learn additional leadership skills from Industry.



Deadline for Registration/Questions:

• Must register with Point of Contacts, include completed Non-disclosure process attachment, listed below by 24 February 2023 4:00PM EST
