Description

The Department of Energy, Richland Operations Office, requires wet wash laundry and decontamination services for regulated Radiological Protective Clothing (RPC), nonregulated items, and respirator face pieces in support of the Department of Energy, Richland Operations Office (RL), Office of River Protection (ORP), and designated Hanford Site contractors located in Richland, Washington.



The Contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation, and other items necessary to perform the laundry services. The Contractor shall use commercial nuclear laundry practices while processing the Hanford Site regulated RPC. The nonregulated processing shall meet all normal commercial laundry practices. The respirator face pieces are required to be cleaned to manufacturer's specifications. This service requires the processing of each Closed Loop System (CLS)

separately to prevent cross contamination of the various loops or loss of inventory.
