Description

(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

(ii) This solicitation is issued as an Request for Quotation (RFQ)

(iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-05.

(iv) This procurement is set aside for Small Business Concerns. The NAICS code is 332999 and the Small Business Size Standard is 750.



DESCRIPTION



The Cowlitz Ranger District located in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest has a requirement to purchase 200 ADA-Compliant Fire Rings. Name Brand or Equal Specification are in the Solicitation.



SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS



• The fire ring is rolled using 3/16" thick steel

• Must be Wheelchair Accessible and meet all ADA requirements

• 16 7/8” side height

• 32” overall diameter

• 10, 1” diameter drain/draft/anchor holes located around the perimeter of the ring.

• 1" FORMED (not welded) flange lip around the top of the ring for strength and safety.

• Single Level 290 sq. inch welded cooking grate with a 3/4" dia. handle bar, 5/8" dia. perimeter bar and 1/2" dia. grate bars.

• Grate must be permanently hinged to the ring but able to flip in and out of the fire ring.

• Include spring handle grips of 1/8" x 1/2" coiled steel flat bar (not wire springs)

• All grate bars must be Welded on both sides.

• Finished with high temp non-toxic black enamel paint.

• At least 3 ½” diameter anchor pins to secure in place with concrete

• Utility Shelf and heat shield is not required



Specifications provided are equivalent to the Pilot Rock Model FS-30/18/PA



DELIVERY LOCATION, AND NEED BY DATE



1. Delivery FOB Destination before 01 April 2024 Monday through Friday, between 7:00a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

PACKAGING



Material shall be packed for shipment in such a manner that will ensure acceptance

by common carriers and safe delivery at the destination. Containers and closures shall comply with the Interstate Commerce Commission and Regulations, Uniform Freight Classification Rules, or Regulations of other carriers as applicable to the mode of transportation.
