Applications are now being accepted for bands and musicians to perform at the City of Sumner’s summer events in 2024, including the popular July Music off Main Concert Series.

About the Events:
The Music off Main Concert Series is a free summer concert series. The popular concert series is looking to feature a variety of musical performers. The music should encourage a family friendly, fun and relaxing environment for all attendees.

2024 Performance times, dates and locations:

• Friday, July 12th- Music Off Main at Heritage Park
• Friday, July 19th- Music Off Main at Heritage Park
• Friday, July 26th- Music Off Main at Heritage Park
• Saturday, August 10th- Music off Main at Loyalty Park (in conjunction with the Cultural Art’s Commissions Chalk Art Festival)

Objective:
To attract a wide variety of people to these summer events and to celebrate community, diversity, the arts, and promote Sumner as a family-friendly, welcoming destination.

Proposal Specifications:
● The City of Sumner seeks musicians that will appeal to a wide range of audiences. Any range of genres by local or regional acts is desired
● The selected person/s shall perform at one of the event dates and locations listed above
● No profanities are allowed
● Sound equipment and/or technicians for the Music off Main events WILL be provided
● Load-in and sound check are allowed after 5:00 p.m. on the said dates of performance
● Dressing rooms will not be provided

Selection Criteria:
We are going to evaluate a variety of things, such as music, diversity of artist/s, cost for performance, and quality of material. Covers and originals accepted.

Deadlines:
The deadline for submittals is Sunday, February 11th, 2024 by midnight.
