NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by Whatcom County Administrative Services Finance/Purchasing at their office on the fifth floor of the Whatcom County Courthouse, 311 Grand Avenue Suite 503, Bellingham WA 98225 for the following:
HAMPTON ROAD PAVEMENT REHABILIATION
UNTIL: 2:30 PM Tuesday, March 5, 2024
At which time and place the bids will be publicly opened (virtual via Zoom) and read aloud. All bidders and any other interested people are invited to watch the live bid opening via Zoom. Late submittals will not be considered.
Whatcom County Public Works requests bids for the Hampton Road Pavement Rehabilitation project, CRP No. 922002. This project provides for the improvement of Hampton Road, from City of Lynden Urban Growth Area to Van Buren Road, in unincorporated Whatcom County, Washington. Work includes bituminous pavement planning, HMA paving, crack sealing, pavement markings, rumble strips, asphalt fog sealing, permanent signing, and other work, as further described in the bid documents.

There is an apprenticeship utilization minimum requirement of 15 percent of project labor hours for this Contract.
Award will be made to the lowest qualified bidder. Whatcom County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any irregularities. Whatcom County encourages disadvantaged, minority and women owned firms to respond.
