Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received by Whatcom County Purchasing at its Office in the Administrative Services Finance Department located on the fifth floor of the Whatcom County Courthouse, 311 Grand Avenue, Suite 503, Bellingham WA 98225 for the following:

On-call Construction Materials Testing and Inspection

At which time and place the responses will be publicly opened (live/virtual via Zoom), and the names of the submitters identified. All interested people are invited to be present. Late submittals will not be considered. Whatcom County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any irregularities.

Whatcom County is requesting statements of qualification for professional services to perform on-call construction materials testing and materials inspection. Please be advised that prospective consultants will be held to ADA requirements and civil rights language for Whatcom County. The recipient, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
