Request for Qualifications for As-Needed Solid Waste Engineering Services

The Cowlitz County Department of Public Works (County) is requesting Statements of Qualifications from qualified consultants able to provide professional engineering services with specific expertise in solid waste engineering especially in the fields of expansion and daily operations of an active municipal solid waste landfill and ongoing maintenance and system revisions of closed municipal solid water landfills. The consultant will provide solid waste engineering services as projects are scheduled or as circumstances emerge that require professional solid waste engineering services.

The County anticipates selecting one firm to provide consulting services on an as-needed basis and the successful firm may be asked to prepare specific proposals (task orders) for more than one project. The initial contract term will be for a period of two (2) years.
