The City of Sequim is putting out a Call for Bids on a contract for furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees thereof to construct the N Sequim Avenue Pavement Rehabilitation project. This contract calls for placing about 1,380 tons of Hot Mix Asphalt including temporary traffic control, milling, striping, and other associated work on select city streets. The Engineer’s Estimate range is $650,000 to $750,000. The work locations include but are not limited to:

All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions, Contract Plans and Standard Specifications for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the City Clerk, 152 W Cedar St, Sequim, WA 98382. Bid Proposals are to be submitted only on the Proposal Form provided to registered plan-holders. All Bid Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check, money order, or bid bond payable to the “City of Sequim” and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. The City of Sequim expressly reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive minor irregularities or informalities and to Award the Project to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder as it best serves the interests of the City.
