The City of Port Angeles, Washington is seeking proposals from qualified firms to develop plans for vegetation management in the City’s urban forest, begin implementing the plans at two sites, and develop a manual to facilitate ongoing assessment and management of the City’s urban forest. The City is seeking a consultant that is qualified to prepare planting and management plans, implement planting and invasive species removal consistent with the best available science, and incorporate the principles applied at specific sites into a generalized manual that will ensure ongoing implementation of best practices for urban forest assessment and management Citywide. The City seeks to secure a consultant for work associated with two separate pilot projects and the resulting manual.
